We went to Nashville and spent the day on Thursday to start the ball rolling on a new recording. Gus Gaches is going to produce again for us. In our opinion he’s one of the most talented guys in Nashville. He wears many “hats”. He’s a producer, song writer, sings with The old Imperials when they tour in Europe, sings with the Lefevre Quartet, and more. We’re just glad he still chooses to work with groups like us.
We’re excited about this new recording. There are a couple of old classics that we’ll be doing as well as a couple of “instant” classics in Christian music. We’ll also be doing 6 original songs. One was sent to us and I’ve written 5 of them. I’m a little nervous having so many songs on one recording, it’s definitely a first. Our first recording session (for tracks) will be in July.
Please pray with us about the financing for this recording. It’s not getting any cheaper and with the rising cost of fuel added to our already strained budget we’re a little behind.
